RYA Adult Level 1
The RYA Level 1 course introduces the basic skills required for dinghy handling, and begins to build your knowledge to begin your sailing journey! On completion of the syllabus, you will receive a certificate, and can progress to the level 2.
RYA Adult Level 2
The RYA Level 2 course builds on the skills and knowledge covered in your level 1, and helps you develop further in your sailing journey! On completion of the syllabus, you will receive a certificate, and can progress onto a specialist course such as "sailing with spinnakers"
Please note that this course is run over 2 consecutive days from 08:30-16:30 and is catered for ages 14+. You are not guaranteed a certificate at the end of the course, you must complete the syllabus to gain a certificate.
Powerboat Level 2
Our RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course costs just £230 per person for this 2-day course. This course is mainly practical based however there are some elements of theory included.
This course is designed for those 16+
So, a summary of what's included: -
- RYA Powerboat instructor
- Bespoke made 5m Ribcraft RIB training boat with 60hp engine, as well as all fuel used
- Buoyancy Aids
- Undercover learning area with hot drinks
- RYA "Start Powerboating" book with completion certificate
Please ensure you bring with you appropriate clothing for the day, including shoes that can get wet and waterproofs. Please make sure you have lunch with you, or make use of our delicious onsite Italian Café with sandwiches, pastries, cake and much more. Make sure waivers are completed prior to arrival.
Previous Experience Required: None
Launching and recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside, man overboard
After the course you will be a self-sufficient Powerboater in the right conditions, aware of own limitations and those of the craft.

The British Canoeing discover course is catered to paddlers who have some experience in Kayaking already and would like to further their skills on their journey to become an independent paddler. We will be covering personal skills and rescue skills on the water and preparation for a paddle on the land!

Building and developing your SUP skills to become independent in your paddling.
The British Canoeing discover course is catered to paddlers who have some experience in Paddleboarding already and would like to further their skills on their journey to become an independent paddler. We will be covering personal skills and rescue skills on the water and preparation for a paddle on the land!
