NEW SYSTEM FOR 2020 - Set timing slots and tickets available on the day
Come down to the Lake and hire one of our:
- Stand Up Paddle Boards
- Sit on Top Kayaks
If you have Stage 3/Level 2 Sailing then come and hire a sailing boat.
If you have BC 1*/BC Start Paddle you can hire out our Closed Cockpit Kayaks
£10 for half an hour or £20 for an hour, per boat hire.
Opening Hours for Casual Hire:
10am - 4.30pm
Subject to change due to bookings and weather conditions
Lake Day Ticket use your own craft
Come down to the lake with your own craft, whether its to Kayak, Windsurf, Dinghy or Paddle Board
£10 for the day, just choose your date and pay thats it.
You can use the lake facilities from 10am until 5pm.
Minimum Age is 8 years
WE DO NOT ALLOW INFLATABLES ON THE LAKE APART FROM PADDLE BOARDS
CASUAL HIRE TIMESLOTS
There are 13 sessions each day
5 one-hour sessions at £20 per craft
8 half-hour sessions at £10 per craft.
Each session is supervised by an instructor who will assist with getting buoyancy aids and provide a safety briefing before going afloat.
They are listed below:
- 10:10 - 1 hour on the water
- 10:20 - ½ hour on the water
- 11:10 - 1 hour on the water
- 11:30 - ½ hour on the water
- 12:30 - ½ hour on the water
- 12:50 - 1 hour on the water
- 13:20 - ½ hour on the water
- 14:10 - ½ hour on the water
- 14:40 - 1 hour on the water
- 15:30 - ½ hour on the water
- 16:00 - ½ hour on the water
- 16:20 - 1 hour on the water
- 16:50 - ½ hour on the water
There is a maximum of 20 participants on each timeslot, if there is no space on a requested time slot then a later option will be offered.
4 for 3 offer applies to one participant booking 4 craft on the same time slot, payment must be made by the participant booking. Take 4 craft on the same time slot and only pay for 3.
To 'book' a place on a later time slot, participants must sign on the corresponding form and pay in advance, if payment is not made or the form is not signed then the place is not booked and may be given to other participants.
It is the participants responsibility to arrive on time for their time slot.
Children under the age of 16 must have an adult over 18 on the water with a maximum of three under 16's to one over 18 adult.
Participants 16 and 17 years of age may go on the water without an adult but must be signed in by an adult over 18.
