SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) is a great way to enjoy getting out on the water for fitness and fun. It has great appeal to all ages as anyone can do it no matter how fit you are.
If you want a challenge, you can really push yourself engaging your core and working your legs and arms and getting your heart rate up, it’s a fantastic workout.
These group sessions are designed to take you from total beginner to improver level and give you the confidence to engage in Paddleboarding as a sport. There will be instruction onunderstanding the basics of Paddleboarding and each session will focus on paddling techniques, covering paddling for strength and fitness.
There will also be different exercises introduced each week, to enable you to practise your new paddling skills.
Karen has been paddle boarding for many years and has a background as a Windsurfing Instructor and surfer. Karen is keen to introduce the sport to as many people as possible and demonstrate it’s wide appeal and how easy and enjoyable it can be to start SUPing for fitness and fun.
