We’ve received the results from our latest water quality test and, unfortunately, we are just over the safety threshold.
As a precaution, and because your safety is always our priority, we have taken the decision to cancel swimming for now.
The good news is that we are already actively treating the water with concentrated barley extract and are closely monitoring the lake. We will continue testing and keeping a very close eye on the situation.
We know this is disappointing, especially when the result is only just over the threshold, but we would always rather take the cautious approach and make sure the water is safe before swimming resumes.
